March 9th was such an incredible night.
We had the pleasure of featuring local photographer Shaun Anderson’s collection entitled Spirit. Shaun shared that this collection is “all about being more transparent and embracing our humanity in order to see clearly and heal properly from our wounds.” (@shaunaverelle)
TBH we fell in love with Chelsea Locklear just a little bit this past Loft Session and you’d be lying if you said you didn’t too. She sure can shred and riff like nobody’s business. You can find her music on Spotify and iTunes and she keeps fans up to date on shows through Instagram. (@chelseasingsalot)
Emily Sage, one of the founders of Loft Sessions, performed the first Loft Session this year before opening up to more artists! It was a very special night and we also got to hear some other amazing musicians, singers, and artists from the Queen City, such as Ahji Love, Adrian Crutchfield, Sanchez Fair, Emil, Curt Keyz, Ellie Linsz, and Greg Cox! And thank you to our dear friends from Villain Coffee Co. who warm our bellies with delicious coffee and our hearts with your love. (@villaincoffeeco)
Also if you haven’t checked out the last blog about Sara Colée’s ZINES or if you don’t know what ZINEs are, you should check it out, they’re super cool!
